What is a CPU ? :
It means Central Processing Unit. Sometimes
only referred to as central processor or nerve center or heart, but more
commonly called processors, the CPU is the place where the highest calculation
is done. The CPU is the brain of the computer.
CPU definition
:
Central processing unit (CPU) is a central component of computer system. Sometimes it is called microprocessor or processor. This is the brain that runs the show inside the computer. All the tasks and processes performed on the computer are processed directly or indirectly by the processor. Obviously, computer processors are one of the most important elements of computer systems. The CPU is made up of transistors, which receives the input and generates the output. Transistors perform logical operations called processes. This is not only a scientifically, one of the most amazing parts of the PC, but is one of the most amazing tools in the world of technology.
In the context of computing power, computer processors are the most important element of computer systems. It connects and compares your data to a CPU chip. The CPU of all computers, whether micro, mini or mainframe should be of three parts.
Parts of CPU -
Arithmetic Logic Unit
(ALU): This is the part of a computer processor (CPU) that can be used to
perform arithmetic and logic operations. An arithmetic-logic unit (ALU) is
further divided into two parts, (AU) arithmetic unit and one (LU) logic unit.
Control unit (CU):
The program decodes the command. The CPU chip used
in the computer is partially carried out of silica. In other words, the silicon
chip used for data processing is called a micro - processor.
Register :
This is a temporary storage area of computer processor.
It is managed by the control unit (CU). People running data, directions and
addresses are required when running a program.
The processor plays an important role in the following
important aspects of your computer system;
Display:
The
processor is probably the most important single determinant of system
performance in PC. While other components also play an important role in
determining performance, the processor's capabilities determine the maximum
performance of a system. Other devices allow only the processor to reach their
full potential.
Software
Support:
New,
fast processors enable the use of latest software.
Reliability and
stability:
The quality of
the processor is a factor that determines how dependent your system will be.
While most processors are very trustworthy, nothing is there. It also depends
on the processor's age and how much energy consumption.
Energy
Consumption and Cooling:
Basically the
processor consumed relatively less power than other system devices. New
processors can consume large amounts of electricity. From power consumption to
selection of cooling system to overall system reliability, everyone has an
impact on it.
Motherboard
support:
The processor
that decides to use in your system will be a major determining factor, which
type of chipset we should use, and therefore what do you buy a motherboard. In
return, the motherboard determines many aspects. System capabilities and
performance
